The Beatlegs – The Ultimate Beatles Tribute
13 February 2016

The Beatlegs – The Ultimate Beatles Tribute

The Beatlegs are the ultimate Beatles tribute show. Since 2008, they have been exciting audiences from across the country. Reproducing the iconic sound and look of the Fab Four with multiple costume changes, superb harmonies and music, The Beatlegs will have you dancing in the aisles and reminiscing as they play hit after hit of those memorable Beatle classics.

Taking you on a journey through the eight year height of the Beatles fame, The Beatlegs begin with that innocent age of the Beatles when Beatlemania was at its peak and those slick suits and haircuts were as iconic as the music. They will then transform through the iconic Shea Stadium concert and onto that magical mystery era of Sgt Peppers.

The Beatlegs show is not just a tribute to the greatest pop band of our time, but it’s also a trip through time. A nostalgic portal back to a time of innocence. It’s a show that appeals to young and old alike.

This is the ultimate Beatles tribute show. You won’t believe your eyes or your ears!

Morning Melodies with Cathy Drummond
3 May 2016

Morning Melodies with Cathy Drummond

The Surf Club Coolangatta would like to invite you to our free Morning Melodies show on Tuesday 3th May 2016. A complimentary morning tea will be provided from 10.00am and the show will commence at 10.30am.

This month we are proud to present Cathy Drummond for our May Morning Melodies.

Cathy Drummond is a renowned performer having entertained from Brisbane to Birdsville, Bowen to Boulia and most places in between. She travels thousands of kilometres entertaining audiences with her unique style – a rich and soulful voice that washes over her audience like a refreshing spring. Cathy`s inviting charm endears her to her audiences instantly.

Cathy has the rare talent that enables her to work a crowd from tears toeuphoria in the blink of an eye. Her effervescent personality is “larger than life”.

Having grown up in a musical family, Cathy was destined to follow in her father’s footsteps. Her dad, Kevin Wade, was a well-known entertainer and songwriter in the country music industry in the 1970’s.

Afterwards we welcome attendees to stay for lunch in Seabreeze Family Restaurant which has all day dining from 11:00am and a spectacular beachfront view. We have a selection of senior’s meals starting at just $13.95 for visitors. All you need to do is present your seniors card or aged pension card to be eligible.

We are planning to continue having these special Morning Melodies shows on the first Tuesday of every month.

To allow for catering purposes for the morning tea and seating for the show, if at all possible, we request that you let us know how many will be attending in your group no later than Friday 29th April (i.e. the Friday before). To RSVP or for more information, you can contact us here at The Surf Club Coolangatta on 5536 4648 or hello@coolangattasurfclub.com.

In addition to our Seabreeze Family Restaurant, we also have a café, bar and gaming lounge all accessible via stairs or a passenger lift
