Meet our Locals at Potager – A Kitchen Garden

A small farm set high on the hilltops at Carool above The Tweed Valley, Potager – a Kitchen Garden, is serving up a feast to celebrate the Artisan Food Weekend. Come and meet our locals over a sumptuous Saturday long-lunch prepared by Chef Ryan.

Join Harriet Messenger from Husk Distillers in the Potager grounds for a welcome cocktail. Graze over canapes in the thriving edible garden, chatting with the Potager gardener, Matt. Then venture inside for a 3-course lunch including a taste of the delectable, premium quality and sustainably-sourced venison. Hear from Jonas Widjaja from Fair Game Wild Venison as he shares his story on his solution to support struggling farmers and relieving environmental stress. The Potager team caters for all dietary requirements. After hearing from the award-wining restauranteur and his philosophy on being ‘local’ you will be served dessert before winding up satiated and ready to depart at 4pm.
